Here’s a mid 20th century lamp from a local estate. It has a lovely jadeite green marble base and a matching finial. The body is hollow metal in an urn style reminisce of the French neoclassical era. The colors are green, brown and bronze. The lamp measures 35 tall overall. It is 22 1/2 tall at the top of the piece the sockets attach to so it could be easily shortened if you desired. The base is approximately 7 diameter. Both bulb sockets are missing their end caps. This is dangerous and needs to be fixed prior to use. They can be physically pointed down if you choose. As with any older lamp a total rewire would be my suggestion. Both pull switches feel good and the cord appears aged and damage free. Other than minor wear and evidence of age there is no other damage to the lamp. The piece that connects the finial to the “post” has a bit of play in it. Please look at the photos to assess all of this. I try to give any information I have about the listings, and to tell you whether the information is fact or opinion. My description will point out anything I find that could possibly be considered a flaw. For this reason, many past buyers felt that they received a better product than they expected. I use padded envelopes, peanuts, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam packaging as necessary to ensure safe arrival.
