NICE Old Antique Vintage 1920’s Maxwell Car Tail Light Lamp. This is an original light in excellent condition. The height measures 4 3/4 inches. The depth measures 2 1/8 inches not adding the convex lenses. The width measures 9 inches. The light body is in nice condition! It has no dents, dings or and damage. The top of the light body is stamped ” MARMON TYPE-A “. The aluminum rim is in very good condition. It should be buffed. All glass lenses are perfect with no cracking, chips or scratches. The left hand STOP and center clear lenses look original. The right side red lens doesn’t look original but it could be. The height of the lens is different that the other two. The lens are a little loose and need new gaskets. The inside plate that the lenses sit on is straight and clean. A previous owner wired the plate to the light body instead of using four little screws. It actually works well. The long unique clear license lens is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The license plate bracket is stamped ” MARMON TYPE-A”. One of the screws to attached the light rim is missing. The light socket on the back of the light is in nice condition.
