The lamp is made in the form of a carved alabaster stone fluted column with brass mounts on a rectangular plinth base. The lamp is made with white and multicolored Italian alabaster (see photos). The lamp is not marked by a maker (see photos). The lamp has a classical style. The lamp is wired for electricity, and it has been tested to be in working condition (it is always a good idea to re-wire vintage lighting). The lamp is well-made, weighing over 11 pounds. The lamp is vintage. I believe the lamp may be Italian in origin from Italy. The item in total as shown measures about 33 inches high to the top of the harp (it is about 22.5 inches high to the socket top), and it is about 5 inches wide at the base. The alabaster portions of the lamp have some scratches, scuffs, and some chips and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The lamp has a central vase section of porcelain or pottery with a colorful Imari-style Asian art design including birds and flowers. The lamp has a wooden base and top cap (see photos). The lamp is not marked by a maker (see photos). I would guess it may be Chinese or Japanese in origin (research and decide the origin of the item and the maker on your own). The lamp is vintage with an intentionally aged finish on the vase (see photos). The lamp is from an estate liquidation (see photos). The lamp measures in total about 31 inches high to the top of the finial (it measures about 22 inches high to the socket top), and it is about 6.75 inches wide at the base. The vase portion of the lamp measures about 15 inches high. The lamp is in working condition (I recommend rewiring vintage lighting before use). Very unique 1920s-30s original cast metal lighting accents. These will be great as replacements for lighting or for any unique project you may want to add some original Art Deco accenting. These have the original screws and clips for mounting. There is aging patina and worn spots in the gold gilding from age and use. Please review all photos using zoom for condition.
