This is a beautiful glass hobnail lamp shade that is a vibrant red not a dark or dull red color. It does have two scratches on the top inside. There are a few small chiggers around the fitter that is quite typical of a used glass shade and of course is not visible at all when installed properly. To see them you have to look really close at an angle. This is one of the prettiest red shade I have ever had. Perfect for any type lamp that you want to pretty up. It does have a 9 and 7/8 fitter. This will easily fit on a 10 inch shade holder. This is not a thin glass like the glass made in the early 20th century and before. Antique cranberry glass hanging lamp shade with a hobnail/thumbprint design. It measures approximately 7 1/2″ at the widest point, and 8″ high. There are 2 small cracks around the top rim, and some tiny nicks around the bottom rim. Not sure of this was an oil or kerosene lamp. Refer to photos for condition.
