Beautiful vintage Holophane-style prismatic ribbed glass lamp shade, featuring a classic clear pressed-glass design with fine radial fluting and an approximately 8-inch diameter. The shade is formed from substantial clear glass with numerous closely spaced ribs radiating from the central fitter toward the outer edge. This attractive optical pattern gives the shade the characteristic appearance associated with early industrial, commercial and architectural prismatic lighting. The shallow dome / reflector form makes this an excellent period-style replacement shade for a compatible vintage pendant light, ceiling fixture, industrial lamp, workshop light, architectural light or restoration project. The central fitter rim/opening measures approximately 1.7 inches, an important measurement when matching the shade to an existing light fixture.
