Vtg Lightolier Gerald Thurston Table Lamp As Is For Parts! She’s not pretty, but here she is! As received in estate sale. The base is in decent condition, and there are a few scratches on the white base. The shade, well, it’s gone to heck and back by the looks of it! Discoloration, paint spray, top is badly suffering from too hot a bulb syndrome. The 3 metal supports are off the support bracket. The shade will sit of played with on base. A Vintage Steampunk Desk or Table Lamp. A unique piece of Industrial style Lighting. The lamp is made from an old motor part that is set onto an old drilled wooden worktop base. The old motor part has some fly wheels, cogs and parts some of which can still be spun. A really unusual steampunk desk or table lamp ideal for people who like things a bit different, this is a complete one off. Please see all of my images as these provide the best description. The lamp has modern earthed wiring, an earthed switched bulb holder and a modern cable clamp. Condition is good – The metal has burnishing marks, marks from manufacture and marks of use and tarnishing. The lamp can be kept fresh with the occasional wipe over with a light oil. The lamp has small marks relating to age & use but nothing major. Wiring is good, modern and earthed and the lamp works well. Underneath the wooden lamp base has a felt base that has a few marks but is good. The lamp would look good with a modern filament bulb. A bulb is Not Included.
