Vintage/Antique Bizarro Tiffany STEAMPUNK DESK LAMP 19th Century Parts. This is a very cool old desk lamp that was constructed completely of old 19th and early 20th century parts. This lamp was probably built about a hundred years ago or so. I’ve provided pictures to give you a good sense of what it looks like up close. I’ve left all of the original oxidation and grunge. I think it adds to the piece, but it could be cleaned if so desired. The metal piece at the top has a patent date of “Sept 23 90″(I don’t think they’re talking about 1990). The light socket is an old Bryant lightsocket with the original Edison pantents on it. I’ve provided pictures with the lamp lit up with a 60 watt modern bulb as well as the multi-colored bulb that originally came with this piece. I think the glass in the shade has some really beautiful greens and purples and yellows in it. There are a couple of dents in the base, but they’re not too big. Also, this lamp is fairly tight and good for articulating in various directions, but there is a little wiggle in the light socket. I haven’t tried to tighten the screws, that might fix this. This lamp measures 17 inches in height. The lamp share is 4 3/4 inches wide across at the corners and 4 inches long. The base is just under 5 1/2 inches wide. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. I strive to receive 5/5!! That’s they’re new system. Heavier items will cost more. So I do sometimes add a couple of dollars to the cost to cover myself. I guarantee everything I sell. However, I go to great lengths to provide correct measurements and nice big pictures of every detail. If you fail to do so, or the piece doesn’t fit properly, I’m sorry, but there’s nothing I can do. Small Unique Industrial Table Lamp. One of a kind, steampunk-style, industrial table lamp made of repurposed tools and other metal gadgets. Very eye-catching and will fit nicely in many decors, from the garage to the living room. Nearly every part of this lamp has been clear coated. The lamp shade is a vintage projection lamp with a semi-rusted chrome reflector inside stamped on the side “MADE IN USA” and PAT. The patent is from 1941 by inventor Wilber P. The zigzag arm is made from vintage cast connecting rods (from Yamaha). Please note, this arm is NOT swinging or articulating. The base is made from a repurposed Browning single groove sheave pulley (stamped AK49). The electrical cord is 62″ long and made from a braided brown nylon-type outer material with a rolling on/off dial (dial made by “Zing Ear). Light bulb is not included.
