The gears are all vintage parts from older vehicles. Wiring is brand new reproduction black twisted cloth cord with a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. A gearhead’s dream shop light. I built this lamp to compact dimensions to allow it to fit in many places. The three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The gear handles at all three joints make re-positioning easy. The gear handles can easily be switched to the opposite side. There is a ball joint at the shade that allows the shade to rotate from side to side. The lamp socket takes small sized bulbs and looks great with a reproduction type bulb. The incandescent reproduction bulb is not included – I can advise on where they are available. I have included a single LED spotlight bulb (R20 size) shown in the last picture. This lamp simply looks stunning. A perfect gift for the desk, office, garage or workshop. Arms (from joint to joint): 7.38″, 8.38″. Steel shade: 4 diameter.
