This is a steampunk inspired lamp measuring 28 high. I spent some time over the past year putting this lamp together. Taking it apart and putting it back together dozens of times, trying to get everything to fit right and have a good visual flow. I named it Timed Apocalypse because of its resemblance to a gas mask and the use of a vintage Triumph motorcycle timing cover. It incorporates an antique Lunkenheimer brass hit miss engine oiler, vintage brass gate valve, vintage cast iron compressor fly wheel, vintage aluminum flat track motorcycle rear wheel sprocket, Triumph front fork spring, and a bunch of pipe fittings. It is well constructed and solid. Wiring and explosion proof light fixture are new. For sale is an extremely rare Lucas Trouble Lamp used to see under the bonnet of British cars for those unexpected night-time repairs. This is the only one of these I have ever seen in 46 years of owning. Lucas Trouble Lamps were only available in the 20s 30s 40s 50s and 60s. The top of the unit spins to wind or unwind the wire which has 2 clips. When new these units also came with a dash plug that fit the dash on vintage Land Rovers, MGs, and other makes. We do not have an extra plug, but Moss motors has them. This unit appears to be from the 50s or very early 60s and is made of die-cast metal. It is in very very very good condition. If you have a Land Rover we offer high performance engine conversions. For the Series IIA & III we build the following: GM 2.5 and 3.0 liter 4 cylinder gasoline engines, Diahatsu 2.8 Turbo Diesel, and a kit. To install the Mercedes OM617 Turbo Diesel. For the 90/110/130, w. E offer the following engine conversions: an Isuzu 2.8 TD, the Iveco 2.8 TD (same engine as the Land Rover PS-10), and a Kit to install the Mercedes OM617 TD.
