2 Vintage Justrite 3-300 Plastic Body Miners Carbide Lights lamps. One has the hat bracket hook broken away and missing. One has a missing cap. Neither have been tested. The label will usually be generated sooner. I will combine items when applicable. All items will arrive thoughtfully and safely packaged in a new box with weatherproof label. I box all my items. I do not trust envelopes unless its the occasional Flat Rate envelope and then it’s always reinforced for no bending. I do accept international sales when applicable in listing and item is allowed. Vintage 1930’s/1940’s/1950’s or older coal mine miner mining retail counter display box – Repair Parts For Justrite Carbide Lamps, No. 2 Contents, Outfit, Miners Cap Lamp” with three boxes of “One Dozen Auto- Lite Flints, For All Makes Of Carbide Lamps, Packed In Capsules, Keep In a Cool, Dry Place with 38 unused flints in plastic capsules (some flints have disintegrated into pieces/powder). The 9 3/4″ by 4 1/2″ by 2 1/8 box has great colors and graphics. It has many factory partitioned areas inside for the parts. The inside of the lid has a price guide with part descriptions and part numbers. There is a cardboard piece of another parts box glued onto the inside lid as pictured. This piece also has parts and part numbers. One side panel has “Carbide Lamp Fitting” written in red wax pencil. The storage box shows lots of use and storage wear as pictured. Nice group of vintage 1930’s/1940’s/1950’s or older coal mine miner mining items including three unused near mint Justrite ten ounce #77 carbide pocket cans can. They hold a full day’s supply. The strong durable and convenient cans are concave or curved shaped to fit the boot or hip pocket. All three are marked Justrite, Trade Mark, Pat. Applied For, Made In U. The three cans would have held solid carbide fuel for use in carbide lamps. They were manufactured by Justrite Manufacturing Company, Chicago, Illinois. The 3 cans have slide open tops and show some very, very minor storage wear as pictured. There is a clamp on the back and a swing out hanging loop on the bottom. There is corrosion in the battery box that needs to be cleaned for good battery terminal contact. The light stick is in overall solid complete untested used condition.
