ALL PARTS REMOVED FROM A 1955 PONTIAC TRANSMISSION. THIS WAS IN MY OWN CAR WHICH I DROVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS–IT WAS REMOVED TO INSTALL A HYDRAMATIC. OFFERED: ONE LOT OF USED 1955 PONTIAC 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANS PARTS FROM THE SAME TRANSMISSION. >EVERYTHING INTERNAL IS THERE, EXC, THE MAINSHAFT, AND SOME OF THE NEEDLE BEARINGS. IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. >THE FIRST GEAR IS GOOD, BUT NOT NEW–PLEASE STUDY THE TWO PICS. THIS IS A SOME-WHAT HARD PART TO FIND. >THE IDLER GEAR HAS TOOTH-EDGE MARKS, AS POINTED OUT BY THE PEN CAP. THESE AREN’T TOO RARE TO FIND. >THE CLUSTER GEAR SHOWS TOOTH WEAR (NOT THE DARK MARK), AS SHOWN BY THE PEN CAP. LUCKILY, THESE ARE FAIRLY COMMON. >THE SLIDER GEAR IS GOOD. >THE INPUT SHAFT IS GOOD, BUT AGAIN, NOT NEW. THERE IS SOME SURFACE RUST ON THE PILOT BEARING SURFACE (BUT CAN BE CLEANED). > ALL SHAFTS ARE USEABLE. >SMALL PARTS: ALL ARE USEABLE, BUT THE BRONZE THRUSTS. I RECALL ONLY ONE IS USEABLE. > ENGAGEMENT YOKES/LEVERS ARE GOOD AND USEABLE. > EXTERNAL SHIFT LEVERS ARE INCLUDED. >> PLEASE STUDY PICS AND ASK QUESTIONS, IF THERE ARE ANY. I WILL NOT SEPERATE.
