Vintage original 1950’s or earlier YANKEE clamp on A-pillar spot lamp with mirror back. Clean as a whistle. You know you want it! He loved English made goods – the estate was filled with them. This light was sure to be a Raydyot when I picked it up, but no markings at all. After some research, it appears to be a Yankee, made in good’ol USA. This is the deluxe model that would have come with an interior switch (No leaky built in switch). Wiring is also hidden unlike the cheaper model. It runs through the arm. The light is dripping in chrome. Very well made in in superb shape after all these years (It was wrapped in a blanket in a chest). Chrome over brass – that’s why it held up so well (No pitting). The bulb looks good. I cant test since the wiring has been lopped of at the mounting point. Old braided insulation on wires tells you how old it is. I see exactly ONE pencil point ding on the chrome housing (rear of bucket). I’m being picky. Clamp on bracket is what you want (No drilling). Looks like it will mount to either the sheet metal or the A pillar glass (if your car has one). Clamp it anywhere – it’s your party. Mirror on the back is 100% perfect other than being a bit loose. Just tighten the inside fastener when you open it up to rewire. This is a deal. Condition of mine smokes 90% that you see listed. Examine all the high resolution photos below.
