Vintage Retro ORIGINAL Y2K (dated 1998) VALDesign UBO Silicone Spiked Novelty Assorted Color Light Bulbs and 2 ValDesign Fixtures (1 working, 1 not but easily repairable). This lot is vintage, authentic, and pre-owned from estate storage. All bulbs tested and are shown in their working present condition. They will be well packaged. 3 bulbs do not have their original packaging. 6 bulbs do have their original plastic boxes, but they are old blister-pak type plastic and some have missing flaps that have broken off, and plastic has yellowed in spots and is getting brittle from age. Some pieces have actually cracked off and are missing. A working original vinyl rubber, somewhat flexible type black fixture has some tape adhesive looking mars near the bottom that appear as little shiny spots on the matte finish vinyl. Turns off & on with a roll toggle on the cord and is standard 110 v plug-in. A 2nd fixture is included. It is not working, but can be repaired easily enough. It was bent over in the storage box and suffered a split in the rubber flange on the bottom from the pressure, and also the socket is missing. The cord with the switch is present, but a new socket will need to be wired to it. It was mis-shaped by being forced into a corner in the box it was stored in. Being rubber I’m sure if sat in the sun for a bit it will heat up and return to original shape even more. The split on the bottom does not hurt anything. The light bulbs are 5 assorted colors and 4 white/oyster white ones. It was hard to really capture their true effect with the camera, but they are close enough to give a good idea. The spikes are white to clear silicone Hershey Kiss shaped dabs with long “tails” that are applied to painted glass incandescent standard medium base light bulbs. No silicone dabs are missing and they remain soft, pliable and well-adhered to the glass.
