1960s-70s “rescued” wonderful Japanese Red-Crowned Cranes Pottery Lamp – Dismantled & cleaned; will require rewiring/reassembly. All original parts included w/ exception of old shade that was beyond salvage. Features a beautiful painted crane motif around the entire body & done in a classic Japanese style. The cranes are not the same pattern repeated…. They are in assorted positions to avoid obvious repetition. The glaze is a hammered painted finish that creates a warm, mid-century brass tone. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The base the body rests on shows some wear where the pottery rubbed on it. You will need to rewire the socket, reassemble, & supply a shade. Basic electrical easy DIY level. The lamp stands approx 24 tall with the harp on. Striking lamp w/ elegant lines & timeless imagery, perfect for Asian-inspired or Mid-century decors.
