ANTIQUE BRASS FRAME FOR LIBRARY HANGING OIL PEG LAMP. Nice antique brass pull down oil / kerosene lamp as shown. No shade or font. Embossed brass upper and lower rings. 14 inch diameter lower shade holder ring is embossed brass plated and will accept 32 prisms(not included). No kinks in the chains. Font hanger and receiver are embossed brass. Missing one screw cap which attaches frame to shade rim is lost, but protruding screw for attachment is still there. Font burner cap found in the box with this lamp is marked Danbury Conn, but cannot guarantee this is original to the frame. No bends to frame or rings. Font holder accepts a center peg style slanted glass font and is approximately 3 diameter at the top. Hanging length as shown 30. No ceiling cap or smoke bell / or chain. Unmarked Ceiling canopy is complete with motor and chains, but frozen in full up position. Probably needs a good dousing of WD40 to loosen it up, but can’t guarantee it will and I haven’t tried. Old acquired patina , nothing has been polished or seriously cleaned, just wiped off the dust. Attic stored for decades. Just over 3lbs T. Packet to conserve condition.
