Here is an unusual vintage brass table lamp base ready for restoration. It has been in storage for many years and has a dull patina and some dust. The lamp measures 28-inches tall plus the original 9-inch diameter by 1-1/2 tall wooden Asian style base. Total weight is approximately 13 lbs. No wiring, cord, harp, shade or socket. The age and origin are unknown. The lower section of the body is approximately 23-inches around and has a raised design of phoenix or Chinese mythical birds flying amongst leaves and blossoms. The design is repeated four times around the perimeter. Two birds are facing one way and the others the opposite way. The upper section has the same design in a scaled down version.
