Offered for your consideration is a massive pair of stately outdoor wall sconces, perfect to complement the front door entry of a large home or mansion. They are in need of a complete restoration, but all of the pieces are there, with the exception of three glass panels. The sconces are 29″ in length, 9″ wide and would protrude 10-1/2 from the wall. Exact age is unknown, but they are very sturdily made and quite old. They are constructed completely of solid brass. The very top section and finial are copper plated on top of the brass. One of the sconces has 5 of the 6 beveled glass panels intact. The other sconce has no panels intact, but there are 4 loose panels of glass that had been removed. The 4 panels all have some chips on the edges. I checked them to see if the chips would be visible when the panels were installed. For 3 of the 4 panels, the chips would not be visible. For the fourth panel, chips would be slightly visible on the two top corners. I have shown this in one of the photos. There are no dents that I could see in either of the sconces, but it is possible that there may be small dents that will only be visible after the heavy coating of black paint is removed. Please look at all of the pictures closely, as they are part and parcel of the description. Thank you for your interest, and please let me know if I can answer any questions. My goal is nothing less than complete, 100% satisfaction from my customers.
